From Doomscrolling to Blissful Sleep
We recently moved into a new home and I used the opportunity to reset some of the poor habits that have crept in over time. One of the most important changes has been to make certain rooms off-limits for phone usage. The bedroom, living room and dining area are now no longer available for doom-scrolling.
By setting a very clear rule like this, my sleep has already improved dramatically as I am now shielded from the constant mental stimulation of my phone while in bed. I suspect my productivity and social life will see a similar improvement.
It’s easier to make fundamental changes like this when in a new environment, but maybe there is something you can do today to oust an unwelcome habit.
